Hackers kidnapped cloud from Tesla to mine bitcoins

According to the company RedLock, the services that Tesla maintains
stored in Amazon's cloud Web Services were accessed and used by hackers to mine crypto-coins.
The attack was detected by RedLock, which promptly notified Tesla about the problem. Elon Musk's company says it has already settled the case and ensures customer data has not been compromised.
The consequences for the automobile manufacturer do not appear to have been serious, but the attack is yet another episode on the hijacking path to the cloud that has been affecting large companies and even branches of the US military.
In an official response to the press, Tesla asserts that the only information at the mercy of the perpetrators was related to engineering projects and test vehicles.
