"Tubo Houses" may be the solution to housing problems in Hong Kong
The "tube houses" have been named OPod and are only 9.2 square meters and condense the essential elements to live in a clean way: a sofa that turns into a bed, some shelves to put books or objects of decoration, a mini- a microwave and a bathroom with a shower. All within a cement all, similar to those used in water supply networks in cities. The prototype presented by architect James Law was thought to solve one of the problems of Hong Kong, considered one of the most expensive cities in the world for those who want to invest in real estate.

Micro houses can help reduce the housing crisis, costing just $ 15,000, when the city's average price is around 1.8 million by 55 square meters, according to estimates.According to a report from Business Inside, James Law sees these houses as a temporary solution, which can be applied in areas where it is not possible to build and in free space, such as under bridges, on rooftops, between buildings and even stacked on boats anchored in bay.
