Heavens Above helps you in "hunting" space objects
Heavens Above is a non-profit page, developed by Chris Peat, which gives people special information, such as which comets and asteroids are visible or details of the various planets. It also gives access to detailed charts of the satellites' trajectories.Allowing observation of satellites orbiting Earth without any equipment is required, the site pays particular attention to the International Space Station (ISS) and the phenomenon known as Iridium flare, caused by the reflection of solar rays on reflective surfaces in artificial satellites, which appears on Earth as a brief bright glare. It is easy to locate the activity in the skies, and you only have to set up your viewing location on the map on the site. You can select the closest city to the online database or by entering its exact location (longitude and latitude). The results will tell you exactly at what time and in what direction you should look at the sky. You will only need a compass to guide you.Described by Sky & Telescope magazine as "the most popular site for satellite tracking", it is also considered one of the 100,000 most important sites in the world.
