Samsung wants to give the "final blow" in the frames of smartphones

The smartphone industry is well underway with regard to the suppression of front frames. However, Samsung wants to do away with what remains of this structure. In a set of patents registered and published now on the internet, the company unveils what may be its vision for the next mobile phones of the line Note and Galaxy.
The project meets the ambitions already known: hide the sensors behind the display, so that it can occupy its visible space. Their operation would be ensured by a system of holes of microscopic size that would ensure contact with the outside.

If the South Korean giant succeeds in materializing the concept, the company's next smartphones may present an even bigger screen-to-structure ratio than the iPhone X or Xiaomi Mi Mix.
The patents presented here were published by the company last May.
Samsung's latest flagships integrate the front sensors in the upper zone, accommodated in a small ledge that still does not allow us to say that these phones completely eliminated the frames. Smartphones such as the iPhone X and Essential Phone choose a different architecture, concentrating the sensors in a smaller zone, in the center of the equipment.
Note that this is only a patent, so it may never materialize into a real product. In addition, the document registered by the company also highlights some versions in which are visible small top bosses, as already exists in Essential Phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S9, whose leaks are already circulating online, should not yet feature any of these styles, as the published images show models very similar to their predecessors.
