Apple, Samsung, Huawei, LG and many other manufacturers introduced new models of mobile devices during 2017. We already know that the features are not disruptive to proposals made in the past and so the bet is now on the "improved features", associated with the increase of storage capacity, processing or autonomy.

Base price (high) apart, Apple's latest model to hit the market, the "top of the range tops range" iPhone X was the one that garnered the most votes from readers, for a total of 24% of preferences.Huawei Mate 10 Pro, the current flagship of the current number two in the Huawei smartphone market (at least in the quarterly accounts), ended up with the top vice-leader of the top with 21% of the results.Preferences follow the line of the sales ranking by brands, and the third place of the podium was for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the model chosen in 13% of the votes. Soon after, in the fourth position, the "relative" Galaxy S8 was classified, with also 13% of the votes. The top 5 TEK vote on the best smartphone of 2017 is complete with One Plus 5T, preferred in 12% of cases.All other models in the list had percentages below two digits in readers' preferences, namely: Apple iPhone 8, sixth (6%), Sony Xperia XZ1, seventh (3%), Google Pixel 2, eighth %), Razer Phone in ninth (3%), LG V30 in 10th (2%) and Essential PH-1 in 11th (1%).
