RAZER

Razer prepares smartphone launch for next November 1

Reporting: Sapo

Razer's acquisition of Nextbit served as support for the theory that the brand was developing a smartphone. Officials at both companies hastened to say that the technologies would continue to function independently, but the mobile manufacturer left a clue as to what the future of the partnership would look like when it said it would "innovate in the mobile industry."This Wednesday, however, the doubts dissipated. Razer announced an event for next November 1 and illustrated this information with the image of a man who is holding what appears to be a smartphone. If confirmed, the equipment should have a specific focus on video games and a storage feature that will privilege the cloud, since this is the specialty of Nextbit.

Nextbit has just one product, Robin, which started as a Kickstarter project in late 2015, aiming to raise $ 500,000. The target was surpassed and achieved about 1.36 million in funding from more than 3,000 investors.
The distinguishing feature of this mobile phone is that it has a large storage capacity, as it stores the data and content that the user uses less frequently in the cloud.
