Google has new cameras for Street View ... and you should be worried

A Google tem novas câmaras para o Street View… e deve ficar preocupado

The Google is updating the equipment it uses in its Maps and Street View mapping service with powerful new cameras that can detect the smallest details in the entire environment. He tells Wired that the cameras are so powerful they are even capable of capturing the opening and closing information that is on the doorstep.
Further help is Google's algorithms, which will help organize information and improve the detail of photos that will be captured in high definition. "People are coming to us with deeper and more difficult issues," said Google Mapping Vice President Jen Fitzpatrick.
Google Maps and Street View are likely to be more useful but, notes the Business Insider, Mountain View technology is likely to be able to draw deeper conclusions about particular media based on this information.
And with Google being Google, this information is likely to be used to target increasingly relevant ads, showing ads by region, age range, and preferences.
