The next Galaxy Note may be quite different from what you are accustomed to

With the Galaxy Note 8 already on the market Samsung has already started working on the successor, aiming to launch a truly different product from this year's model. The next model of the Galaxy Note line may have a foldable display, the Associated Press reports.

According to Dongjin Koh, who is responsible for the mobile division, he says that until the launch, there are still challenges to overcome and technical issues to solve. It is therefore not expected that the smartphone (or the technology that will be based) will be shown in the near future.
Still, there is much that is known of Samsung's intentions in offering its followers a foldable screen smartphone. As The Verge recalls, it was in 2012 that Samsung began by displaying a prototype of a foldable AMOLED screen, so it is a long-term technology strategy.
