Counter-Strike 2 Limited test meets more gamers
Counter-Strike 2 is finally getting ready to exit its closed beta phase after months of uncertainty from Valve. Sending invitations to many CS:GO players, how does Valve send these invitations?
Who is the Counter-Strike 2 limited test distributed to?
The CS2 beta, available to everyone from September 1st, has three strict requirements:
1-Premium Account: The premium account system that Valve released after making Counter-Strike: Global Offensive free to make the game playable despite cheats is a prerequisite for CS2 limited testing. If you’ve been playing on Steam since it was on sale for a fee, you get the premium status, so you don’t need to make any other purchases.
2-An active competitive rank: Users who have not played the game for a long time will need to play enough matches and refresh their rank to access the CS2 limited test. This could be a move by Valve to keep the limited test invite count low or to attract more players to CS:GO.
3-Being in one of the active CS2 limited testing regions: Currently, the regions eligible for CS2 limited testing are all 7 continents. In this context, Türkiye can also participate in the limited test.

How to Download Counter-Strike 2?...Users who meet the prerequisites will see a limited test invite button at the top when they log into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. After clicking this button and participating in the limited test, a close to 20 gigabyte update will start on Steam. The game will become accessible when the update is complete.
Can Users Who Do Not Meet The Prerequisites Participate In The Beta?...If you don’t have a premium account, you may not be able to access the beta even if you unlock it, as it will take 10 matches to activate your competitive rank after switching to the premium account, and CS:GO only allows you to play a certain amount of matches per day. However, if you have a premium account and unlock your rank after September 1, the CS2 limited test invitation may appear in your account the next day. Valve hasn’t commented on this, but most players say they got limited test access the day after they activated their rating.
