Specs and renders of mid-range HMD 'Sage' smartphone leaks

Details of another upcoming mid-range smartphone from HMD have appeared online. The leak also reveals the phone will have a design similar to that of the HMD Skyline.

It appears HMD has a new mid-range smartphone on the way, based on a leak that reveals some key specifications and renders of the device which is codenamed ''Sage''.

The source of the leak is the X account, HMD Meme's (@smashx_60), who has become known for posting details about unreleased HMD devices. According to the post detailing the specs of the phone, it will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The HMD Sage will be powered by Unisoc's T760 processor, the same chipset inside the HMD Crest Max. There's no mention of the RAM and storage. However, the phone will have a 50MP primary rear camera and another 50MP front-facing camera.

There's also no mention of its battery capacity, but the leaks says the phone will have support for 33W fast wired charging via a USB-C port. The source also mentions the HMD Sage will have an IP52 dust and water resistant rating, an audio jack, and NFC.

The renders of the HMD Sage show the phone will have a similar design to the HMD Skyline (curr. available on Amazon for $449), albeit with two rear cameras. It will have a polycarbonate frame, matte finish on the back, and be available in green, blue, and red color options.

As at the time of writing, there's no info on when the phone will be announced, what it will cost, and which regions it will be sold in.

Leak reveals possible specs, price, and launch timeline of Apple iPhone SE 4

A recent report suggested that the iPhone SE 4 will enter mass production in December of this year and possibly be announced in early 2025. Now, a new leak hints that the launch is set for March 2025. It has also shed light on the specs and price.

Apple is not expected to refresh the iPhone SE lineup in 2024, but a new model is rumored for early 2025. A previous leak hinted that it will incorporate features from the last three flagships, including the Apple A18 SoC from the latest iPhone 16 lineup. This would give the upcoming affordable phone a much-needed performance boost.

While Apple has yet to share details on the 2025 iPhone SE, a new leak claims that the affordable phone will land in March 2025. This launch timeline aligns with what Ming-Chi Kuo shared in a recent report. Analyst Kuo shared that the phone would enter mass production in December 2024.

This new leak has also shared the possible specs of the iPhone SE 4. Besides the Apple A18 SoC, it claims that the screen will measure 6.06 inches, matching the info that Ice Universe has previously shared.

Moreover, like some previous reports, this spec sheet leak claims that the front will have a notch like the iPhone 14 and one camera on the back. The screen is said to be M11 grade, matching the iPhone 14, and the rear camera will reportedly be the Sony 48 MP IMX904.

Other than that, the spec leak hints that the iPhone SE 4 will feature 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, meeting the minimum requirement for Apple Intelligence. Another highlight from the spec leak is the proprietary 5G chip, which analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported about back in July of this year.

As for the price, previous reports suggested a tag below $500, and the new leak claims that the iPhone SE 4 could start at $499 (128 GB M2 iPad Air curr. $499.99 on Amazon). Overall, this leak seems more like an aggregation of past reports that came from different sources. That also means it's something that you should take with a decent amount of salt.
