STREAMING
Netflix is introducing a new feature to its streaming service called “Moments,” which allows users to save and share specific clips from movies and shows. This feature aims to make it easier to share favorite scenes with friends or on social media, providing a practical way to highlight memorable moments.
To use the feature, simply tap the screen while watching content and select the “Moments” button from the menu that appears. After that, the user can save the desired moment.
The menu also allows you to view other saved moments from the same work and share these selections on different apps. In addition, it is possible to copy a link to the moment, making the experience even more accessible.
Preliminary tests indicate that the feature is intuitive and may encourage users to share their favorite scenes in chats and on social media;
It is also seen as a solution for those who often search for specific clips, as it allows you to easily store and access favorite moments in your personal library;
As for the saving limit, Netflix clarifies that this depends on the length of the content, but assures that most users will have enough space to save several moments.
The feature is currently rolling out globally for iOS users and will soon be coming to Android, but there are no plans yet to roll it out to the web or TV devices, including smart TVs. Netflix hopes to expand this functionality in the future, offering more options for users.
