Step by step: how to force dark mode in Chrome
Google Chrome already comes with a dark mode option, which certain websites automatically switch to if they support this option. However, many websites still do not have any type of dark mode.
So, for people who use the browser and experience eye fatigue when using light mode, Chrome has introduced a feature to force dark mode, which switches all light websites to dark mode.
By forcing dark mode in Chrome, you can make light-themed websites display inverted colors, providing a dark background and light-colored text. However, this solution may not be as aesthetically pleasing as waiting for sites to create their own dark themes; Still, it will apply dark mode to all sites.
Before we begin, it's important to mention that just enabling the force dark mode option in Chrome does not activate dark mode for the browser itself. To enable dark mode for Chrome, you need to enable the dark mode option for your operating system before using the feature:
1. In Windows, open Settings;
2. In the left side menu, click on “Personalization”, then click on “Colors”;
3. In “Choose your mode”, Select “Dark”;
