iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro designs revealed through new dummies with Action Button and Capture Button shown
Thanks to the release of four new dummy models, the visual changes from this year's iPhones compared to the iPhone 15 series can already be seen. Not only has Apple made the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max bigger than the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, but it has also distinguished them with noticeably different camera modules. Apple's rumoured Capture Button is visible across the iPhone 16 series, too, as is its existing Action Button.Apple is likely about five months away from announcing the iPhone 16 series. Nonetheless, leakers already seem in agreement about the smartphones that Apple will market with iPhone 16 branding. For now, anyway, it appears that Apple will release the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max as direct successors to the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Additionally, the four devices sport a new Capture Button, which is rumoured to be pressure sensitive and Apple's first 'taptic' solid state button. Reportedly, the Capture Button will also be capable of providing various camera features like zooming thanks to its support for gesture controls. Meanwhile, it seems that Apple will return to its first vertical dual-camera arrangement since the iPhone X, albeit only on non-Pro models. Furthermore, non-Pro models are said to be slightly smaller than their Pro counterparts, with this year's Pro and Pro Max iPhones growing by 0.2-inches to 6.3-inches and 6.9-inches diagonally across, respectively.
