Tecno Pova 5 will have RGB lights on the back
Tecno is apparently working on something called the Arc Interface – RGB lights on the back of the phone that light up for new notifications. Here "the phone" appears to be the Tecno Pova 5, although there's a chance it's a different device.
Here is an Arc demo by Ishan Agarwal(https://twitter.com/ishanagarwal24?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1681221866093006848%7Ctwgr%5Eef4f0c84f6693d451c7160024257f2bfb96714ca%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fpaginajournal.com%2Fvideo-mostra-a-nova-arc-interface-da-tecno-pova-com-luzes-rgb-na-parte-traseira%2F) that shows the light strips flashing to life from an incoming call:
Judging by the demo clip, the lights lack the fine-grained control that the Nothing Phone (2) has, but the Pova 5 is an inferior device. A more elaborate version could be created for more premium Technos.
The Pova 5 features a 6.78” IPS 120Hz (FHD+) LCD and is powered by a Helio G99 chipset (up to 8/256GB of memory) and a large 6,000mAh battery with 45W wire-only charging This project is called “Turbo Mecha”.
By the way, the upcoming Tecno Pova Neo 3 also uses the Mecha design, but we don't know if that will include the lights or not (note: the Neo 3 design doesn't include the dotted pattern next to the camera island, that's why we think that this is the Pova 5). The Pova 5 will be released later this month.
