Then Sony presents its new generation of headphones

There has been talk for a long time about Sony’s new headphones WF-1000XM5, but are they about to be presented.

Sony has released information about an event that will take place on July 24 at 6 p.m. Swedish time. The event does not mention the WF-1000XM5 headphones outright, but event slogans such as “The Best Silence Drops” and “For the silence. For the sound” undoubtedly leads the mind in that direction.

No official information about the headphones has been released, but previous leaks have suggested that the Sony WF-1000XM5 is expected to feature “Dynamic Driver X” technology with 8.4mm drivers, two proprietary processors, three microphones each, and active noise cancellation. Other leaked features include bone conduction technology and a technology called Precise Voice Pickup technology.

Leaked battery times say 24 hours including the case, and three minutes of charging should give 60 minutes of listening time.

You can also expect Bluetooth 5.3, multi-point connectivity and wireless charging on the case.

On July 24 at 6 p.m. Swedish time, we will find out if it is the Sony WF-1000XM5, and if so, how much of the leaked information is true.
