Galaxy S24 line may not receive updated selfie camera hardware

Speculation has already begun about what the Samsung Galaxy S24 trio might look like. The first rumors indicated that the manufacturer would discard the S24+, something that opinions have been divided recently.

Today's rumor is about the selfie camera in upcoming models. It seems that Samsung will continue with the same 12 MP sensor that equipped the S23 trio in the S24 trio as well. This is after Samsung made the drastic shift from going from a higher resolution selfie camera in the S22 trio (40 MP) to a significantly lower resolution in the S23 trio. On the other hand, it's possible that the S24 trio will get better selfie cameras after all due to better software optimization, but if that's the case, the S23 trio will also get the same software soon after.
