Moto Razr Plus curiously “cracked” in the durability test

Cell phone stress tests are always an interesting spectacle. That is why videos with this content on the well-known YouTube channel JerryRigEverything are also very popular. Since the advent of smartphones with flexible screens, these tests have gained a completely new dimension, as attention is suddenly paid to previously non-existent aspects. A few hours ago he appeared on the channel mentioned durability test of the new flexible Motorola Razr Plus. Overall, the phone performed pretty averagely, but what caught my eye was the crack in a rather unexpected place.

Video traditionally starts recording from various hard spots and blades on the viewfinder and continues to scratch. Subsequently, it receives dust and sand space, which should provide relatively weak IP52 protection (keep in mind that, for example, Samsung puzzles have a “full of fat” IP68). But the new flexible Motorola survived this torture surprisingly well.

A small surprise also occurred at the end of the rehearsal, when the final fold arrived. The pressure of the thumbs against the hinge in an unnatural direction, though appropriately, forced the main screen, but it finally resisted. Instead of cracked glass on the outside that protects the front screen.
