How to assemble a 2023 Model Hackintosh System?
We are collecting a 2023 hackintosh system with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 13900KF processor and an Asus ProArt Z790-CREATOR Wi-Fi motherboard.
After Apple abandoned the x86 architecture and switched to the ARM architecture, the hackintosh may be experiencing its last moments, but it is still possible to assemble a hackintosh with almost the most up-to-date components. For example, the 13th Gen processor in the system belongs to Intel’s latest Raptor Lake family. Again, we use a motherboard with the latest Intel Z790 chipset as the motherboard, which we used to use the Z690 chipset version of this motherboard before. The reason why we prefer this model of ASUS is that it has dual Thunderbolt 4 slots and these slots work smoothly under macOS.
The reason we chose the RX 6950 XT as the graphics card is that the top-end graphics card compatible with macOS is this card with Navi 21 architecture. Although cards such as the 7900 XTX are on the market, unfortunately they are not compatible with hackintosh yet. If Apple moves the Mac Pro to the ARM architecture this year, it is very difficult to get support for a new model anyway.
Another point to consider when collecting Hackintosh is SSD. We could use a Samsung SSD in the system, but Samsung SSDs have a problem with TRIM under macOS and the system takes longer to boot. For this reason, we used our SSD preference for the Western Digital SN770 model.
There is no special reason for the other components, but one thing that caught our attention during assembly was the removal of the cables in Corsair’s RM1000x power supply. It made our work incredibly easy and we liked it very much. Highly recommended. See you on macOS Ventura installation.
