DC600M: the fourth generation of SATA SSDs for data centers equipped with 3D TLC NAND flash chips
Construction based on the classic form factor offers consistent performance and PLP protection, as well as excellent write tolerance.
Designed for mixed workloads, the 2.5-inch novelty uses hardware PLP technology, so dedicated capacitors protect against data loss due to power outages. The 256-bit AES self-encrypting hot-swap solution is produced in capacities of 480 and 960 GB and 1.92, 3.84 and 7.68 TB, and its maximum sequential read/write speed is – not surprisingly – 560/ 530 MB/s .
1 for 5 years, 1.66 for 3 years DWPD drives are rated at 876, 1752, 3504, 7008, and 14016 TBW, with typical read/write latencies of <200 µs/<30 µs, while maximum write consumption is 3.6 watts. A 5-year (limited) warranty is provided on the 2 million-hour MTBF certified storage, and while no pricing has been announced, we found the 3.84TB variant on a home webshop (no stock) for HUF 135,000.
