ASUS apresenta a GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix LC

GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix LC: the brand's new card with maintenance-free liquid cooling system

ASUS has launched the GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix LC graphics card, which features a maintenance-free liquid cooling system. The new card uses the same cooling system as the previous generation GeForce RTX 3090 Ti model ROG Strix LC. Apparently, its performance is enough to cool the main accelerator based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.

The GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix LC itself has a full-coverage water block that cools the AD102 GPU and GDDR6X memory chips. A fan included in the cooling system removes heat from the graphics accelerator VRM power supply components. The card occupies 2.6 expansion slots in the PC.

The ROG STRIX LC's water block is connected to a 240mm external radiator via two 560mm long hoses. The heatsink is cooled by two 120 mm ARGB fans that deliver high airflow and static pressure while maintaining low noise levels.

The GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix LC will be available in both a factory-overclocked and a non-factory-overclocked version. Both have a dual BIOS system with a silent and productive mode. The card without overclocking has a standard GPU frequency of 2520 MHz and a Boost frequency of 2550 MHz. The overclocked version has a standard GPU frequency of 2610 MHz and a Boost frequency of 2640 MHz.

The manufacturer did not provide information on the price and release date of the GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix LC model. However, as the RTX 4090 ROG Strix OC variant with an air cooling system is currently priced at $2,000 USD, it is likely that the version with a CVO will be offered at a much higher price point.
