NVIDIA

We finally know the price of the RTX 4070, which will hit the market in 10 days

Surprisingly, it’s not so terrible, but the recommended price is somehow not valid for us, when the domestic duds add a few thousand on top.

So, the official suggested retail price (MSRP) should be 599 dollars, converted to some 13,000 CZK (without VAT, approx. 15,700 CZK with tax). One would almost cheer that this would be a slightly more normal priced card. But – the RTX 4070 Ti has a recommended price of 799 dollars, a little over 17,000 CZK without tax, and in our country it is sold for about five thousand more with tax. And I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the RTX 4070 turned out similarly. In the best case, it will cost around 16,000 kocourkovských.

The AD104 core was also confirmed from the leaked NVIDIA presentation. Also interesting is the average power consumption during gaming, only 186 W. Also, the 36 MB L2 Cache is a big increase compared to the last generation, which had only 4 MB. As with the 4070 Ti, 12 GB of memory and a 192-bit bus will remain. The number of CUDA cores should be 5888 and boost 2475 MHz. We will find out in ten days how the card will be worth its performance in the end. I really wish it cost the 13 thousand and had enough power. Well, we’ll see.
