Xbox Remix – Microsoft presents a special edition controller made of recycled materials – Techlove – For the love of technology

Microsoft has unveiled a new edition of its game controller. It is called Remix and was prepared on the occasion of World Earth Day, celebrated on April 22.

A characteristic feature of the new model is that it was made partly from recycled materials. As we can read on official Xbox blog(https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2023/04/04/new-xbox-wireless-controller-remix-special-edition/) used in the production of this model parts of old controllers, CDs, plastic bottles and car parts. Interestingly, due to the materials used, some elements of individual copies are slightly different in appearance.

By mixing PCR resins with regranulate from preformed colored parts, custom earth tone colors with subtle variations, undulations and textures were created for the first time on Xbox – each Remix Special Edition controller has its own look and feel.

The Remix model will be sold in a set with a battery and a USB-C cable. The premiere in Poland was announced on April 18. You can now pre-order(https://www.xbox.com/pl-PL/accessories/controllers/remix-special-edition) it for PLN 399.
