A powerful miniature computer with the Linux operating system!

Although the Windows 11 operating system reigns supreme in the field of compact desktop computers, the company Sistem76 decided to equip its new computer with Linux. In addition, the engineers made the decision to equip it with powerful hardware. It is currently difficult to find compact desktop PCs with the Linux operating system on the market, which can be used even for the most demanding tasks.

The powerful System76 Meerkat desktop PC is available with the Ubuntu operating system or its own Pop!_OS. The novelty has a relatively compact case, and it houses powerful hardware. The new desktop computer is powered by Intel processors. Three Intel processors of the Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 families are available to users, namely the 10th generation, the 11th generation and the 12th generation. The most powerful model has a 12-core Intel Core i7-1260P processor with a frequency of up to 4.7 gigahertz.

The cheapest model of the System76 Meerkat desktop PC is equipped with a Core i3-10110U processor (10th generation), eight gigabytes of system memory and 128 gigabytes of data storage space. However, only the calculated 465 euros must be deducted for it in over-the-counter sales. The cheapest model with an Intel Core i3-1220P processor (12th generation) is valued at an estimated 557 euros. Of course, the newcomers offer all the necessary connectors and connections, but currently they are only available for selected markets around the world.
