Google announced the first set of Workspace products to feature built-in artificial intelligence, functionally similar to ChatGPT. Until now, this feature is expected in Google Docs and Gmail. System work was shown in the example of generating a description for a job.
To begin with, a short prompt is formulated, and then the system creates the necessary text on its own. In the future, AI will be able to write, verify and rewrite texts, as well as offer unusual and interesting ideas.
The e-mail client previously had the "Smart Reply" and "Smart Creation" functions, and now artificial intelligence has learned to supplement a small letter or, conversely, to expand a long letter. You'll also be able to change the tone of a letter, making it more formal or not. You'll also be able to create bullet lists.
In the future, generative artificial intelligence will appear in the Vertex AI cloud and App Builder, and the developers promise to open API access soon. As for the release of AI in Google Docs and Gmail, AI will first appear to a limited circle of testers, this will happen in March. So everyone will have access, but there is still no exact date.
