GeForce RTX 4070 Launches With 12GB Memory

The GeForce RTX 4070 will be available in April, a few months after the Ti. According to information from many different sources, we will see an official launch on April 13. NVIDIA partners preparing for the promotion are also apparently making their final preparations.

MSI(chinese manufacturer)...A recent MSI EEC fileshows that the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card will have 12GB of VRAM. Judging by the company’s listings, at least eight MSI RTX 4070 models will be released. As you know, the RTX 3070 series came with 8 GB of memory. 12GB of VRAM will give you an edge to run new AAA games in higher quality textures and higher resolutions.

MSI uses phrases like “XG” to indicate the amount of memory in graphics card models. There is no rule that the product in every ECC filing will be released. The EEC filing reports mean the company can only use the listed names if requested. So there is no official confirmation by NVIDIA, but we can say that the memory capacity of 12 GB has been largely confirmed.
