AMD

A AMD está se preparando para trazer os processadores de servidores Genoa-X para o mercado

Genoa-X: the inedit line of processors for servers from the semiconductor giant is still under development

AMD has already launched the Ryzen 7000X3D processors on the market, and is now preparing to launch the Genoa-X processors for servers, which will also receive additional V-Cache.

According to the new data, each CCD chip of these processors will have 64MB of V-Cache chip.

Remembering, Genoa processors have 12 chipsets of this type. This means that the higher models, in addition to their own amount of cache memory in the third level of 384 MB, will have another 768 MB, that is, a total CPU will have 1,152 GB of cache memory! In comparison, the Milan-X processors have 768 MB of cache memory.

The new CPUs will have a TDP of 400W with the ability to be capped at 320W. As for the frequencies, we are talking about a maximum of 3.7 GHz, which corresponds to the usual Genoa.

The 96-core Epyc 9684X will be the senior model, there will also be a 32-core Epyc 9384X, a 24-core Epyc 9284X and a 16-core Epyc 9184X in the lineup, but it's not certain that there won't be other models in the lineup.
