The Swedish company IKEA, known all over the world for its furniture, produces not only cabinets, tables and chairs, but also electronic products. One of their latest innovations is a small Bluetooth speaker that isn't afraid of water. The price is $14.99.

The Vappeby Portable Bluetooth Speaker is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. The device can be submerged in water to a depth of one meter for 30 minutes. The loudspeaker is available in yellow, red and black, and comes with a safety cord by which the device can be hung, for example, in the bathroom. If you buy two speakers at the same time, you can create a stereo pair.

Claimed battery life is 80 hours at 50% volume. There is no charger and wire in the kit. IKEA promises that the speaker produces powerful sound for its size. Although you shouldn't expect anything amazing from a device at such a price.
