The NBA app shows your Activity in real time

The official NBA iPhone app has been updated with support for Live Activity, which lets you view live game scores at a glance.

Real-time activity is an iOS 16 feature that makes it easier to stay up to date on live events, like a game or food delivery order. During one NBA game, a banner on the iPhone’s lock screen displays live score, quarter, remaining time, and other relevant information. THEThe score is also shown in the Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro models.

The Apple TV app already offered support for real-time activity from NBA games, and now the feature is also available through the official NBA app.

The app is available on the App Store. As a reminder, Apple has been allowing third-party apps to support live activities since iOS 16.1 was released in October.
