AMD
Recently there has been a rumor that AMD will release not only next-generation mobile chips, but also expand the existing Zen 4 lineup of desktop processors.
For example, with models from the Phoenix family, which will have integrated RDNA 3 graphics.
AnandTech writes that Phoenix chip-based laptops will not go on sale this month. This became known from the official statement from AMD. The company said it and OEM partners need more time to finalize the next generation of processors and chip-based products.
"In order to introduce the finished platform and provide the best user experience, we expect our OEM partners to release the first notebooks based on Ryzen 7040HS series processors in April," from AMD's official response.
Earlier at CES 2023, the chipmaker promised that the first devices with Phoenix chips would hit the market as early as March. Now the release date has been moved to April - the exact dates are not disclosed.
