AMD's CEO reported that the ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 motherboard is on sale at retailer Newegg.
The model is sold for US$124.99, which is exactly the minimum price that AMD promised to place on available components during the presentation of the new generation of processors.
ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 is an entry-level motherboard based on B650 chipset, made in Micro-ATX form factor and equipped with AM5 socket. It features 8-pin CPU socket and 11-phase VRM system (8+2+1) which is cooled by massive heatsinks.
The motherboard has two RAM slots that support slots up to DDR5-6400 and can overclock modules with EXPO technology. The card currently allows up to 64 GB, but after updating to AGESA 1.0.0.7, the device will recognize up to 96 GB. The motherboard has two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot and one PCIe Gen 5.0 x4 M.2 slot. The main M.2 slot is equipped with a heatsink and the second slot is Gen 4x4 and has no cooling included.
Furthermore, ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 is equipped with four SATA III ports, one 2.5GbE Dragon LAN slot, seven USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen2 port. For additional features, the vendor offers an M.2 slot that can be used for the WiFi module. It can be purchased separately.
