Xiaomi has announced another smart home novelty – Xiaowan Intelligent Automatic Cat Litter Box. This is a pet toilet that can even be placed in the room because it is hygienic and eliminates unpleasant odors.

This toilet saves the owner of a cat, dog and other pets from having to clean the litter box every time the animal gets small or big. It needs to be cleaned once every two weeks.

The toilet has a container with a volume of 8.6 liters. Physiological secretions pass through special filters, after which the contents are disinfected and aromatized to kill bacteria and neutralize unpleasant odors.

The toilet is controlled from a smartphone, a notification will be sent to the mobile app when it needs to be cleaned. It also provides monitoring of bowel movements, a special system analyzes urine and feces to notify about possible health problems of the animal.

This toilet is sold in China for 1,499 yuan, which is about 16,200 rubles at the current exchange rate. It is possible that Xiaomi resellers or the company itself will start selling the novelty soon on AliExpress, where such products are quite popular.
