Users complain about ''cracked screen'' on Galaxy Z Fold 3
Two weeks after the presentation of the Galaxy S23 high-end mobile phones, Samsung is highlighted on a less pleasant note, namely with regard to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 equipment launched in 2021. Several users of the folding model have reported that cracks appeared in the center of the giant screen that can be folded vertically, although there is no physical damage or specific impact on your device.
Stakeholder dissatisfaction is compounded by the fact that for some the issue arose after the Z Fold 3's one-year warranty expired, so they might even consider swapping their phone. The news was first reported by PhoneArena following extensive feedback from readers, but you can also find mentions and photos of broken screens among experiences shared on Reddit.
Such reports are undoubtedly not good for confidence in the device, which is equipped with excellent hardware. Although compared to its predecessor, the 7.6-inch panel of the Z Fold 3 received a new reinforced mechanical protection (Gorilla Victus), which, according to Samsung, is 80% stronger than the solution used in the previous model. Engineers also strengthened the hinge, which, thanks to the new aluminum alloy, became 10% stronger than the old mechanism.
