Improved Samsung Camera Assistant is coming to more mobile phones

Last October, we reported that Samsung released a new mobile software tool called Camera Assistant. It's a photo aid from the Good Lock package, which is also available in the Czech Republic for a few weeks. The function, originally created exclusively for Galaxy S22 series phones, will look to other phones, according to official information. Furthermore, Samsung has announced several innovations in this environment.

Among the novelties we can find a total of three modifications and two completely new functions. The first modified function is Image Smoothing, which now offers three different texture levels (0, 50, and 100 percent). A new one has been added to the frame rate setting for users who prefer a fast result over quality “Speed Priority” switch. The third update is perhaps the most interesting and makes it more accessible.

Sequential shooting with timer. Therefore, it is not necessary to start it before each photo session.

The first complete novelty is the quick trigger. After activating this feature, the phone takes a picture immediately after placing the finger on the screen, and even the slightest delay caused by taking the finger away disappears. The second innovation makes it possible to turn off the screen during a long video recording to save energy. Camera Assistant will go to the aforementioned phones immediately with the One UI environment update to version 5.1. It was released with the new Galaxy S23 series phones.
