A few hours before the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, insider Ice Universe shared information about the performance of the custom processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy.
In the Geekbench 5 benchmark, the new product outperformed its closest competitors running Android.
Thus, Galaxy S23 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip for Galaxy scored 1573 points in the single-core test and 5060 in the multi-core test. That's a nearly two-fold increase in performance compared to last year's Samsung flagship. Such a high power is due to the use of a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with an overclocked processor.
Apparently, shortly after the release of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it could become the most powerful device on the market - among Android smartphones, the Geekbench record currently belongs to OnePlus 11. The Chinese flagship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip scored 1329 and 4767 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones were announced today.
