QUALCOMM

The first test results of the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor appeared online, showing the superiority of Qualcomm chips over Apple. This is reported by MyDrivers.
The engineered version of Snapdragon 8 Gen3 was tested in the Geekbench 5 benchmark. The processor scored 1930 points in single-core mode and 6236 points in multi-core mode. This result is 20% better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, and also narrowly beats the Apple A16 Bionic, which scores 1877 and 5447 points in single-core and multi-core modes, respectively.
The exact specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 are currently unknown. However, the chip is reported to have eight cores: a high-performance Cortex-X4, five auxiliary cores, and two energy-efficient cores. This scheme is expected to reduce energy efficiency by 20% compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
According to MyDrivers, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 will be unveiled in late 2023 at the Snapdragon Tech Summit.
