NVIDIA

In January of this year, NVIDIA introduced the RTX Video Super Resolution video upscaling technology. It uses algorithms to scale video resolution up to 4K. During the announcement, the company announced that the new feature will appear in Chrome and Edge browsers.
Google has now released a new version of Chrome (110.0.5481.77) that has support for NVIDIA technology, but it will still need a new driver to work, and it hasn't been released yet. Also, RTX VSR can only be used if the user has manually enabled the feature via the NVIDIA control panel. By default, video scaling will not be enabled.
While Chrome 110.0.5481.77 is available to a small percentage of users, the full release will take place on February 7th.
Initially, NVIDIA demonstrated its new technology on the example of YouTube, but it can be assumed that it will find much wider application. RTX Video Super Resolution requires a GeForce RTX 30 or RTX 40 series graphics card. RTX 20 cards will be supported later.
