Microsoft has given a gift to all owners of the Windows 11 22h2 operating system who are used to using widgets. Test program participants can experience the full-screen widget panel.

Now, instead of a huge number of icons on the desktop, users will be able to place useful information for them, for example, information about the weather or exchange rates. Thus, Microsoft is trying to make working on the operating system as productive as possible.

The developers also said that in the near future the Windows 11 operating system will begin to support a huge number of third-party widgets. Currently, only one is available to users - from Facebook. It allows you to view social network messenger messages. The Messenger widget is based on Windows App SDK 1.2.
