INTEL

This was reported by journalists from the Videocardz portal with reference to a reliable informant @wnxod. According to them, the processor will have the same core/thread configuration as the regular Core i5-13400F.
But its production will involve high-end chips that, for one reason or another, were not suitable for creating older CPU models.
As a result, the Core i5-13490F will have 10 cores and 16 threads with a maximum clock speed of 4.8 GHz, which is 200 MHz faster than the Core i5-13400F. The processor will also have 24 MB of third-level cache, while the base Core i5-13400F has only 20 MB of L3 cache.
Furthermore, the whistleblower shared the results of testing Core i5-13490F in CPU-Z of the built-in benchmark utility. The processor scored 779.7 points in the single-core test, which is 6% higher than the Core i5-13400F (729 points). In the multithreaded test, it scored 6834.5 points, which is 4.5% more than the Core i5-13400F (6540 points).
Intel previously released an advanced version of the Core i5-12400F. This CPU model had a unique black packaging and was only sold in China. It is possible that the Core i5-13490F is also exclusive to the Chinese market.
