Intel mostra um processador desconhecido com uma frequência de 6 GHz

The first Raptor Lake line processor clocked at 6 GHz

Jason Seo, head of technical marketing at Intel, unveiled the unnamed Raptor Lake processor clocked at 6 GHz. And although the processor number is kept secret, it is obvious that we are talking about the Core i9-13900KS.

The processor's capabilities were demonstrated on a reference Intel motherboard as well as an ASUS Z790 serial model. A ready-made Corsair cooling system was used for cooling. Readings were taken by Intel XTU and HWiNFO extreme configuration utility. Acceleration was not performed.

During the operation of the 7zip program, the chip clock frequency on two active P-cores reached 5.985 Hz. According to Jason, this number can be affected by many factors including power budget, heat generation and the software itself.

Early leaks suggested that the Core i9-13900KS could launch on January 12th. The processor has already managed to light up in several stores, but there is still no official information about the start of sales and the price.
