The Chinese company Blackview, which is mainly engaged in the production of protected smartphones, presented its new model Blackview OSCAL S80.
A feature of the device was a powerful battery - its capacity is 13,000 mAh. Declared support for 33 W fast charging technology. The smartphone can also be used as a PowerBank for charging other devices.
The Blackview OSCAL S80 is based on a single-chip MediaTek Helio G85 system along with 6GB of RAM and an integrated 128GB flash module. Management is entrusted to the Android 12 operating system.
The resolution of the 6.583 inches IPS screen is 1080 x 2408 pixels. An 8-megapixel module is provided for taking selfies and making video calls. On the back panel, there is a triple camera with a 12 MP main sensor. There's also a side fingerprint reader and an NFC chip.
Blackview OSCAL S80 received a strong case weighing 460 grams, thanks to which the smartphone could survive a drop on a hard surface. The device is protected against water and dust according to the IP68/IP69K standard. In addition, compliance with the military standard MIL-STD-810h (resistance to pressure drops and vibration, as well as exposure to high and low temperatures) is declared.
The Blackview OSCAL S80 will be available in three colors: Navy Green, Mecha Orange and Conquest Black. The price is still unknown.
