MIUI 14 will make its debut on Xiaomi 13

In recent weeks, much has been said about MIUI 14, which will supposedly be released together with the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones (pictured above). In addition, the Chinese company has already started working on its internal beta versions for some devices.

Now, Xiaomi has officially announced MIUI 14 in China through its official community. This announcement gives some hints about the new version of the operating system based on Android.

MIUI 14 was announced in a post shared on Mi Community China by Xiaomi itself. In this announcement, the new colorful MIUI 14 logo was published with the description “Our goal is to make the mobile operating system faster, lighter and more fluid”. With this new logo that reflects the colorful spirit of MIUI 14, we are one step closer to being able to use it.

The new logo envisions the future of an operating system with a colorful spirit. The colorful personality of this new mobile interface, which we know will also have new performance improvements.

MIUI 14 will basically be based on Android 13, just like MIUI 13 based on Android 12. However, just like some old devices received MIUI 13 based on Android 11 last year, some devices will receive MIUI 14 based on Android 12 .

The Xiaomi 12, 12S, 12T and Redmi K50 series will be the first devices to receive the same update, but at the moment there is no certain information about when the update will arrive, but it is expected to be released on the launch day of the new Xiaomi 13 , which will happen before the end of 2022.
