PL64: An Extremely Powerful and Rugged Miniature Desktop Computer
At the end of last year, Intel started selling the long-awaited processors based on Alder Lake processor cores. These are the first Intel processors built on a 10-nanometer technology called “SuperFin”. In fact, these are 12th generation Intel processors, which are much more powerful than their predecessors.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the company Asus also opted for the Intel Alder Lake processor, that is, for the preparation of an extremely powerful and fully resistant PL64 miniature desktop computer. Users have up to four different processors at their disposal. Intel Celeron 7305 (5 cores), Intel Core i3-1215U (6 cores), Intel Core i5-1235U (10 cores) and Intel Core i7-1255U (10 cores) processors are available here.
The Asus PL64 desktop computer measures just 199.7 x 119.7 x 33.9 millimeters and is completely silent in operation. The weight of the novelty is suitable for this, as it weighs a good kilogram. Here we also find support for DDR4-3200 system memories and two Solid State M.2 2280 drives. Furthermore, there is also a wide variety of connectors available. There is also support for Bluetooth 5 and WiFi 6e wireless connections. Unfortunately, the retail price of the Asus PL64 desktop computer is yet to be revealed.
