SAMSUNG

O brilho da tela do Galaxy S23 Ultra será o mesmo do Galaxy S22 Ultra

Galaxy S23 Ultra: maximum panel brightness will be the same 1750 nits as the Galaxy S22 Ultra screen, according to insider @AhmedQwaider888(Twitter)

If you believe the rumors and leaks that have become more frequent lately, the development of Samsung's next-generation flagship smartphones is almost complete.

Recently, the devices were spotted on an official promotional poster, and the top of the line Ultra was even tested on Geekbench. Now, an insider has shared news about the screen quality on this model.

Initially, the company planned to install a display with a maximum brightness of 2200 nits in the new product. However, something has changed in the plans of the South Korean technological giant, and the ultratop model of 2023 will receive a matrix with the characteristics of the previous generation. At least the panel's maximum brightness will still be the same 1750 nits that the Galaxy S22 Ultra's display currently has.

This was reported by a Twitter user by the handle of AhmedQwaider888. Although he also claims that the overall display will be better. The company's engineers will improve readability in bright sunlight, even without increasing the brightness of the backlight. The screen is likely to be improved in terms of color reproduction quality and contrast, and it could also receive improved anti-glare properties.

It is worth noting that the maximum brightness of smartphone panels plays a significant role in displaying content. This is not only the quality of color reproduction in the sun, but also the ability to reproduce the HDR format. So far, the iPhone 14 Pro Max copes with this best, whose screen is capable of "accelerating" up to 2300 nits.
