Galaxy F42 5G gets the new Android 13 interface

The Galaxy F series is not sold in the domestic market, however, the Galaxy F42 5G is the latest Samsung smartphone to receive the update to Android 13.

For those who don't know, this Galaxy F42 is a smartphone that was launched in September 2021, and like all South Korean equipment, Android 13 arrives in the form of One UI 5.0, since that's the interface from the South Korean manufacturer. The device's firmware moves to build E426BXXU3CVKC.

In addition to Android 13 and One UI 5.0, the smartphone also receives the security patches for the month of November 2022, that is, the latest patches made available by Google.

Firmware is being made available in India. However, it is highly likely that in the next few days the same will happen in other markets all over the world.

If you want, you can check manually on your device if the update is already available, for that you just need to go to Settings - Software update - Download and install.

This is the second major update for this device, as it hit the market with Android 11, so it should be its last major update.
