O novo smartphone POCO X5 prepara-se para a sua estreia

New series of smartphones POCO X5 is already in development

Xiaomi is working on a new series of POCO X5 smartphones. The lineup is expected to include two models: POCO X5 and POCO X5 Pro. The base model has already passed certification in some countries.

This has already been seen in certification platforms such as FCC, SIRIM (Malaysia) and BIS (India). The phone has already been approved by the NBTC organization in Thailand.

In the NBTC database, the POCO x5 smartphone appeared under the model number 22111317pg. As expected, this could be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 released in the Chinese market.

As a reminder, the Redmi Note 12 is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It has Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and 120 Hz refresh rate.

An 8-megapixel selfie camera is installed on the front panel of the smartphone. On the back is a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an LED flash. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 12 is built on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 mobile platform. In China, the device is available with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The POCO x5 is expected to launch in early 2023.
