Heyitsyogesh: Unprecedented X5 5G model will be based on Qualcomm hardware

In the near future, the Xiaomi POCO X5 5G smartphone should be announced. The novelty will replace the POCO X4 model, released in mid-summer this year. Today, the main specifications of the device appeared on the network. The information was shared by an insider under the nickname Heyitsyogesh.

The POCO X5 5G will reportedly come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The hardware platform of the device will be based on the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 single-chip system. A 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging will be responsible for the battery life.

The source also points out that the POCO X5 5G will receive 4/6/8 GB of RAM, a flash drive of up to 128 GB, an 8 MP front selfie module, a dual rear camera with 48 MP and 2 MP sensors, an impression digital side scanner and IP53 protection.

The operating system will be Android 12 with a proprietary MIUI 13 interface.
