Oppo held a technological event called Oppo Inno Day 2022, where the Oppo Air Glass 2 smart glasses based on augmented reality technology were presented.
According to the official statement, this is a very light device with a mass of 38 g, which visually practically does not differ from ordinary glasses. Oppo Air Glass 2 allows users to make phone calls and translate in real time, and it can also be used with location-based navigation services. These smart glasses can be used by people who are hard of hearing to convert sounds into text.
Oppo claims the glasses use the world's first polymer diffractive waveguide lens, developed in-house. Visually impaired users will be able to choose individual lenses, and the frames can be additionally adjusted for greater convenience.
The first generation of Oppo Air Glass was released last December.
