The Chinese manufacturer iQOO today presented its new smartphone in the domestic market. This is a secondary model called iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition.
The Neo 7 Racing Edition smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED screen. The display panel is characterized by a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, the image refresh rate is 120 Hz. Claimed support for HDR10+ technology.
The triple camera is responsible for the photographic capabilities of the device, which includes a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP sensor with a wide-angle lens (119-degree viewing angle) and a 2 MP macro module. There is a small hole in the center of the screen for the 16 MP selfie camera.
The developers have equipped the new product with a 4nm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 mobile chipset. A multi-layer system with an evaporation chamber with an area of 4013 mm2 is provided for cooling. Management is built on the basis of the Android 13 operating system with the proprietary Origin OS 3 shell.
The smartphone, made in a case with a thickness of 8.85 mm, weighs 197 grams. Autonomy is provided by a 5000 mAh battery that supports fast wired charging with a power of 120 W. There are stereo speakers, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, a chip for NFC contactless payment and Wi-Fi 6.
Pre-orders for iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition have already started in China. The cost of iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition in 8GB/256GB version is US$401. The variant with 12GB of RAM and a built-in 256GB flash drive is US$430, 16GB/256GB is US$ 473. The top version (16GB/512GB) will cost $516.
Sales of new products will start on January 5th.
