Chinese brand Doogee has introduced a new rugged smartphone called Doogee S99 for the global market.
The hardware scheme of the device is based on the MediaTek Helio G96 single-chip system. The storage arsenal includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard flash storage. RAM can be expanded with virtual memory for an additional 7GB. The 6.3 inch display panel offers a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The selfie camera received a 32 MP optical drive. The rear camera consists of a 108MP main sensor, a 16MP wide-angle sensor and a 64MP night vision camera with dual infrared sources.
Standalone operation is provided by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Of course, not without multi-level protection. Thus, the IP68 standard guarantees the preservation of performance after half an hour of staying in water at a depth of up to 1.5 meters. The IP69K standard ensures that the gadget is resistant to pressurized hot water. The military standard MIL-STD-810G does not allow for damage when a smartphone is dropped from a height of one meter onto a hard surface. For contactless payments, an NFC chip is provided.
The smartphone is running Android 13 operating system.
The Doogee S99 will go on sale December 22nd at a special price of $179 for early adopters.
