DELL
Dell presented the Concept Luna - a prototype of a promising modular laptop. There is no flexible display or a large touchscreen instead of a keyboard - on the contrary, the device has a completely standard look.
Concept Luna is almost like a Lego constructor. The device consists of modules connected together without screws - all exclusively on latches. Consequently, screwdrivers or any additional tools are not required to disassemble the Concept Luna. You can disassemble the device into elements in 30 seconds! And this applies to the cooling system, and even to the screen matrix.
That is, for example, if the display breaks, the user can replace it (if a new matrix is available) on his own and very quickly. The same applies to upgrading: simply remove the module from the system board and install a new one in its place.
Outwardly, the Concept Luna resembles a regular 14-inch Latitude laptop. The company notes that this is just a concept and there will be no mass production in the near future. However, some of Concept Luna's developments may be implemented in future Dell commercial devices.
